Passport with at least six months of validity at the time of your request and at least three blank pages.

Two recent, 2" by 2" color photographs, showing a three-quarter frontal profile showing the right side of your face with your right ear visible.

Authorization from the National Office of Identification and Foreign Population Affairs (Oficina Nacional de Identificación y Extranjería ONI-DEX)*

Applicant must prove his or her labor condition (academic degrees, attestations of labor experience, etc.).

This type of visa is granted for one (1) year with multiple entries. The bearer can stay in the country for the same period of time. The Ministry of the Interior and Justice may extend it, upon request, for another year, if the Labor Ministry of Venezuela previously ratifies the work authorization.

Spouses, children under eighteen (18) years of age, parents and parents in law of a work permit holder who enter the country to live in the same household as the applicant will be granted a transient family member visa.

* This office can help you obtain the authorization from the National Office of Identification and Foreign Population Affairs in Venezuela for an addicional charge. You must provide the following:

Photocopy of all the pages of the passport.

Resumé translated into Spanish.

Power of attorney, granting special power to solicit the permits in Venezuela. This power of attorney must be legalized at the Consulate of Venezuela in Miami.
